Update from the middle

I imagine this is where I write a header, in case you’re new here, and in case you’ve forgotten, to tell you what comes after the fold. But I resist. So this is what it is. And it says just as much.

He said, spanner wrench in hand, can’t believe we bought so many things.

I said, that was 13 years ago.

There was physical distance bridged digitally, now we understand distance that can’t be bridged.  There was media barely social, now you can’t tell ai from human. There was us fresh faced wearied, now wrinkled starry eyed.

No I did not say that. But I said, the sun went back to the same spot 13 times, even slow and steady Saturn has gone almost half way. We can’t be the same people that we were.

Just 2 months ago we couldn’t let go, fearing what comes after. Now we can’t wait to not know.
