How to Let Love In

A Cat

A cat came up to me, when i was walking from the car to the market.

They stood by the fence, their fence, looked at me with vertically slit pupils floating in bright yellow eyes.

I stood there in the blazing sun, in front of the fenced train tracks.

Cat wrapped their face, body and tail around my jeans leg, then between, and then the other, and again, and again, drawing infinite infinity symbols.

I walked on, towards the market where i was heading, i looked back, cat looked at me, stood up and sat down again.

I walked on, stopped, looked down, walked on, did not look back again.

I felt loved.

I felt that they felt the same.

i had so much to say before sitting down at the keyboard, but what’s remains, as always, is the same transmission.

Sending you love.

I’ve been trying to clone and split myself up through all the methods i can’t pronounce, molecular or extraterrestrial.

Nothing worked.

It all started, because Lunarian said he wished he had toys. He wished he had someone to play with.

I can’t go back in time. I can’t rewind time to play with him, to make him beakstars companions.

I can, now, play with him.

We don’t have his toys that got thrown away. We don’t need those people he’s better off throwing away.

We have pen and paper.

We have sunlight.

We each have an opened heart.

From these ingredients we can make laughter.

Laughter travels far, far beyond my imagination can reach, to people i do not yet know.
